stated the Foreign Ministry.
Therefore, the Costa Rican Consulate in Venezuela “is attentive” to provide information via email, telephone and social networks.
Other Costa Ricans who have expressed their interest in living in Costa Rica, including some who have never visited the country, have been given information about the procedures that must be carried out,”
the ministry added via e-mail after consultations in this medium.
Due to the territorial extension of Venezuela, which is 17 times greater than Costa Rica, the Consulate has strengthened the use of technological tools, which has produced good results.
An updated base of e-mails is maintained through which a network of periodic submissions of information on matters of interest has been established,”

According to the most recent report, the clash between the government and the opposition has left 49 people dead and hundreds injured during demonstrations.
