17 people evacuated for risk of landslide in Moravia

At 5:51 on Monday afternoon, an emergency call alerted relief authorities about a landslide in three houses.

The incident occurred on Moravia Island, from the Lomas bus terminal, 300 meters to the west.

According to the Fire Department,

28 people were evacuated due to the risk of collapse caused by sedimentation of the soil. Apparently, it happened on a hillside,”

said the institution.

So far no injuries are reported on the site. A paramedic unit, a fire extinguishing unit and another support vehicle went to aid in the rescue and evacuation.
