30,000 residents of Heredia will not have water today

The Public Service Company of Heredia (ESPH) reported that on Wednesday, December 7th the drinking water service in the canton of San Rafael, the district of Santa Lucia de Barva and sectors of San José de la Montaña will be suspended from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cut includes the communities of Paso Llano, upper parts of Marín Cañas, Chorreras, La Joaquina, Getsemaní, Brasilia, Aves del paraíso, El Palmar, Santa Lucía, Lotes Peralta, Jardines de Beneficio, Bajo de Los Molinos, Cementerio de San Rafael and San Josecito.

Businesses and residents of the area are encouraged to take the necessary measures for alternative water supply.

The suspension is due to works to improve the power supply of the area, to face next year’s dry season.
