4 housing projects in Heredia are reportedly at a halt

William Alvarado, legislator from the Social Christian Unity Party (PUSC), reported in the Legislative Assembly that four housing projects in Heredia are at a halt and said that they have not been executed for negligence.

Alvarado said the government has not been interested in developing them, although they can provide housing solutions to many families living in Heredia’s vulnerability.

According to the legislator, the four projects have met all the processes and the only thing missing is the approval of the Ministry of Housing.

This are the projects:

El Faro: It has been pending for 15 years and came up with the goal of providing solutions to 44 families in Guararí. It has land, design and approved plans. It just need the authorization of the Board of the Housing Mortgage (BANHVI).

New Heredia: It envisages the construction of housing for more than 70 families. It has finished and approved plans. . It just need the authorization of BANHVI.

Potrerillos: It is located on the grounds of BANHVI. It aims to provide housing for 52 families in San Rafael.

Villa Paola: It provided housing solution to 240 families in Guararí. However, despite the fact that these families have occupied the houses for 7 years, they have only delivered 110 scriptures.
