7500 people without water for main pipe damage in San José

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) announced that the repair of the main pipe located in the north side of the Central Park will be affecting 7500 people.

They will not have drinking water supply until 3 p.m.

The affected places are districts from San José, so the entity requested the rational use of water and to take the respective measures.

A press release indicates that these are the sectors affected:
• Zapote : Alborada, Calderón Muñoz, Cerrito, Córdoba, Gloria, Jardín, Luisas, Mangos, Quesada Durán, Yoses Sur, Zapote Centro.
• Catedral : Bella Vista, California, Carlos Jiménez, Dolorosa, Dos Pinos, González Lahmann, González Víquez, Guell, La Cruz, Lomas de Ocloro, Luján, Milflor, Naciones Unidas.
• San Francisco de Dos Ríos: Abogados, Bosques, Cabañas, Lomas de San Francisco, Pacifica, San Francisco de Dos Ríos Centro, Sauces, Saucitos, and surroundings.
• Carmen: Amón, Aranjuez, California, Carmen, Empalme, Escalante, Otoya.
• Merced: San José city, Claret, Iglesias y Flores.
