A businessman was robbed while he was going to his store

On November 5th, at about 10 am, the Security Forces of Alajuela assisted an alert about the assault on a businessman from San Ramón, when the man was heading to a furniture store, which he owns, to pay the payroll.

Randall Picado, director of the Security Forces in Alajuela, declared that the man was carrying 4 to 5 million colones to pay his employees.

The man came to work to pay employees, but he was intercepted by a vehicle, thieves pointed a gun at him and took his money. He pursued them but he failed to find them,

said Picado.

The man stated that he tried to locate the vehicle, but he had few details, so it was not possible to find the suspects.

Apparently the subjects had their faces uncovered.
