A group of Costa Rican bishops will meet Pope Francis

A group of Costa Rican bishops will have a meeting with Pope Francis today.

The delegation arrived on Thursday night to the Domus Romano Sacerdotalis, located in Rome, Italy.

In that place, the first work session started and some aspects were agreed before meeting the Pope.

Monsignor José Francisco Ulloa, bishop of Cartago, presided over a Mass in Capilla Santa Caterina, in Assisi. In the celebration, the homily was in charge of Monsignor José Manuel Garita, bishop of Ciudad Quesada.

The religious visited the tomb of St. Francis of Assisi.

The tour is scheduled from February 13th to February 18th: the bishops will go to each of the dicasteries or ministries of the Church, where they will also analyze different topics of the pastoral work of the Church.
