A magnitude 5.7 earthquake was felt in Costa Rica

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake was felt in Costa Rica last night, November 30th, at 18:25 pm.

According to the initial report from the Laboratory of Seismology of the University of Costa Rica (UCR), the epicenter was in Pacayas (West), in Cartago.

People informed through social networks that it was felt in Concepción of San Rafael of Heredia, in Guadalupe, Escazú and Moravia.

As informed by the National Seismological Network, it was registered as a magnitude 5.3 earthquake, with a 2-kilometer epicenter in the east of Capellades, in Cartago.

At 18:33, a quake was also felt near Alvarado, in Cartago.
