A Salvadoran citizen is the main suspect of strangling a woman

Judicial authorities indicated that a Salvadoran citizen is the main suspect of strangling a woman in downtown San José. He was arrested in Alajuelita for the crime, which took place last Saturday in a hotel.

Apparently, the victim entered with a man to the hotel and at around 1 am, workers informed authorities about an strangled woman. The 26-year-old victim lived in Escazú.

According to Álvaro González, head of the OIJ’s homicide unit, the suspect was extradited from Los Angeles on September 22nd. However, the man entered the country as a tourist on September 25th and he’s been living in an irregular condition in the country.
