A strong quake was felt on October 26th

A strong quake was felt on October 26th, at 4:27 pm.

The National Seismological Network indicates that the quake registered a 4.4 magnitude and the epicenter was 12 kilometers east of Savegre, in Quepos, with a 49-kilometer depth.

Expert Javier Pacheco, from the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI), indicatesd that the quake registered a magnitude of 4.6 in Quepos.

The seismic wave was perceived by residents of Escazú, Sabana, San Rafael de Heredia, San Isidro de Pérez Zeledón, Desamparados, Curridabat and of course in Puntarenas, as well as in other areas of the country.
