After an overcharge complain, Uber charges 10,000 colones extra

After a complaint for being overcharged, Karina Monge thought that Uber would give her money back but instead, the application charged her 10,000 colones more.

On December 5th, she explained that the company charged her 72,000 colones for a short trip. However, to her surprise, there was a new update: the less-than-half-an-hour trip cost 82,000 colones, which were reduced from her account.

According to the company, it was due to repair works, even though she claimed that her children are well-behaved and they don’t eat in cars in order not to bother anyone. The taxi driver didn’t mention a thing during the travel.

She decided to cancel her card. The company suggested to do so and to unstall the app and download it again.

Uber hasn’t returned her money.
