American Expatriate Costa Rica

Air Costa Rica was inaugurated on October 26th

Air Costa Rica airline was formally inaugurated on October 26th in an event held at Juan Santamaría International Airport.

The second, Costa Rican airline confirmed that it has already hired 60 people for several areas such as administrative area, crew and customer service.

After 2 years of intense work, the company obtained the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and operating-air permit, both issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC).

The airline will keep rates below those currently offered by the market. Our proposal is to be a hybrid between traditional and low-cost airlines,

declared the company through an official statement.

Air Costa Rica will operate charter flights hired by travel agencies. Next year, it will start operating regular flights to Guatemala City. On this last destination, there are still missing the permits to fly to that city.

It is estimated that by 2017 it starts regular flights in order to Costa Rica with Panama, Bogota and El Salvador. Our more distant plan is to get to Miami,

declared the company.
