Airlines are increasing in the country

The country has been attracting airlines, especially from priority markets.

From January to September, the country registered 445,829 airplane seats available, representing an increase of 18.3%. Juan Santamaría International Airport accounted for 80% of the seats.

The greatest growth took place in Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport, since an increase of 57% was reported.

As for international arrivals by ports of entry, there is an increase in all means of transport, but the largest channel is by sea, then through Daniel Oduber Quirós Airport.

In addition, almost 816,000 people have entered the country through Juan Santamaría Airport.
