Alajuela’s Courts evicted after bomb alert

Police authorities conducted a complete eviction of the Judicial Power building in Alajuela after receiving an anonymous call alerting about a bomb.

The communication office of the Supreme Court of Justice indicated that all personnel were taken outside the judicial complex, so that the respective internal inspection was carried out.

The review was carried out by representatives of the Canine Public Safety Unit to rule out any hidden artifacts in the facilities. There was also a team from the Explosives Unit of the Ministry of Public Security.

At the moment it is unknown if a hearing related to an organized crime case was taking place in the building.
