Alert: there are people posing as Calderón Guardia Hospital employees

Authorities from the Calderón Guardia Hospital issued an alert to the population about people posing as officials from the medical center to get into homes.

You should not let people who are not properly identified as officials of this institution into your home.

This alert comes after a case of an alleged female official who shows up to your door posing as the head of the nursing department of Calderón Guardia Hospital. The woman walks without identification and shows up at strange hours.

Taciano Lemos, director of the medical center, explained that home visiting programs have been around for several years. These visits are carried out by interdisciplinary teams made up of doctors, nurses, social workers, drivers, technicians and other support services who are responsible for supporting the patient who needs it due to a health condition that does not allow them to go to the hospital.

The staff that carries out this work is always properly identified with work uniforms and a badge, in addition they conduct the visits in the official vehicles of the institution at the scheduled times from 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. They never show up alone or in private vehicles.

The recommendation is that if any similar case occurs, you must immediately call the competent authorities.
