Minister of Security Gustavo Mata reported that 20 to 30 people were trapped in the area of Tortuguero and about 8 more people were trapped in Barra del Colorado. Among them, there are 3 minors.
According to the official, these people hid when the security forces carried out the evacuating operation in those areas and once the hurricane approached, they asked for help.
If the weather conditions permit, the police will enter these places to get them out.
