Animals are also affected by Otto! Let’s help them

Tropical Storm Otto forced at least 4,000 people to abandon their homes and dozens of dogs were left behind.

That is why animal welfare organizations are getting ready in the event of an emergency. They ask the population to collaborate by donating food for dogs, cats and chickens.

We need grains, canned corn, dog food and blankets to shelter the animals. The food must be properly labeled, so we can identify it,

declared Krisley Ellis from Salvando Vidas Limón Association.

Donations can be taken to Cruz de Amor store Cross in Limón (center) or Pet City, in Rohrmoser. The organizations will distribute food and blankets among the most affected areas.
