For the third time, the University of Costa Rica (UCR) ia offering workshops aiming to improve caregivers’ quality of life.
The workshops intend to provide relevant information and practical advices to caregivers in order to facilitate daily life tasks.
The workshops are designed and taught by students of Neuropsychology Module, fifth-year course of Psychology at the UCR.
Assuming the role of being a caregiver is a very important challenge, but this should not mean leaving aside our personal welfare and quality of life. On the contrary, by taking care of ourselves, we can provide a better service,
explained Mónica Salazar, specialist and teacher at the workshops.
The activity is free but it has limited quota.
