ATMs at border posts now available

In an effort to ease the collection of a $5 land border tax, four ATMs have bee placed at Peñas Blancas, Paso Canoas, Sixaola and Sabalito. The machines are equipped with a system for paying the tax electronically.

The Banco Credito Agricola de Cartago is responsible for the collection of tax, which went into effect of December 2nd.
