Authorities deactivate emergency protocols after strong earthquake

The president of the National Emergency Commission (CNE), Alexánder Solís, confirmed that the emergency protocols after the earthquake in Guanacaste were gradually deactivated.

The chief explained that at about 12:30 the respective work began after the 5.5 tremor that occurred 30 kilometers from the Tamarindo area.

As a result of the earthquake, many objects fell in many supermarkets and there was material damage, however, damage to people was quickly ruled out.
