Bees attack workers on cell tower in Limón

A man was taken to Tony Facio Hospital after being attacked by a swarm of bees in a tower in Limón. In addition, one of his coworkers was also injured, but remained stable.

Fire Brigade units confirmed the presence of a bee swarm at the top of the tower, where the victims were working. The workers were transported in private vehicles and were 22 and 27 years old.

The emergency occurred at 2:13 p.m. On Friday afternoon, other bee attacks were reported in Batán and Pocora.
