Children supported by Manos Amigas

Not having someone to leave their children with is one the many problems working,Costa Rican mothers face, especially poor single mothers who live in slums.

This was the reason behind the creation of Centro Integral Manos Amigas Llevando Esperanza, in Paseo Colón, an organization that helps take care and feed 24 children from 0 to 6 years old in said conditions.

Silvia Rodríguez, founder and president of the center, stated that they require donors who want to collaborate with this cause to help more children because the current waiting list is big and they are in need of milk, food, diapers, speech therapists and more staff.
