Christian Democrat Alliance registers as national party

The Christian Democrat Alliance (ADC), led by legislator Mario Redondo, completed the process required by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) to register as a national political grouping.

The legislator said that the National Assembly also approved the new statutes and internal regulations that will govern the party, which was formerly a grouping at a provincial level.

In addition, the distribution of the candidacies who will run for legislators was defined. Four provinces will be headed by women and the rest by men.

Redondo stated that in three weeks he will be ratified as presidential candidate for the elections of February 2018 and will announce his proposal to the country.

We become a national party, to dignify politics, to reform it, to focus on what is really important for the country: the welfare of the people,”

said Redondo.
