Coast Guard rescues 3 children and one adult in Puntarenas

At 12:50 on Sunday afternoon, an emergency call alerted that three minors and an adult were at risk of drowning at sea. The event occurred in Boca de Barranca, Playa Doña Ana in Puntarenas.

According to Jorge Matamoros, regional operations coordinator for the Red Cross of Puntarenas,

the patients were already rescued by the Coast Guard and taken to the dock of that institution in Caldera, where they are being examined by our staff.”
