Costa Rica beats Panama in fight against drugs

In 2016, the work done by the authorities against drug trafficking has given its revenues. According to the Government, Costa Rica beats Panama in terms of number of drug confiscations.

The Minister of Communication, Mauricio Herrera, said the country has managed to seize 800 kilos more than Panamanians, with far fewer resources, both human and economic.

Panamanians have more than 25 thousand policemen, twice the current number of security forces agents in Costa Rica.
