Costa Rica has a new office in Israel

Minister of Foreign Trade Alexander Mora visited Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in Israel, in order to present the nation branding and to inaugurate a representative office.

Mora met the Mayor of Tel Aviv in Tel Aviv Innovation Week; he also met Minister Tsahi Hanegbi, who is in charge of these issues in the Prime Minister’s Office. Furthermore, he met authorities from the newly created Israeli Innovation Agency, which will complement the functions of the Chief Scientistic Office.

He also met authorities from the Institute of Exports of Israel, experts in the field of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and he talked with representative from the government to assess the possibilities of developing new mechanisms to facilitate trade between both countries.

According to Minister Mora, this approach allows Costa Rica to know the mechanisms and business culture of Israel, and the needs of goods and services and commercial trends of this market, one of the most vibrant and sophisticated in the Middle East.

This visit is not only an important approach to publicize the main attractions of Costa Rica as a trading partner, it also allows us to know and strengthen ties with one of the most importanr ecosystems of innovation and dynamic enterprises in the world. I had the opportunity to discuss about opportunities for a comprehensive, technical assistance in order to implement in our country a public policy that will generate and systematize actions similar to the ones in this country,
