Costa Rica in the Shnit International Shortfilmfestival

This year will be unique for the shnit International Shortfilmfestival, because it will be the first to have a dual function of Made in Costa Rica: a segment dedicated to the Costa Rican filmmakers who want to shine and highlight in the film industry at national and international level.

On October 6th and October 7th, two presentations, full of national talent, will be held at 8:30 pm at Cine Magaly. #MADEINCOSTARICA will show 15 short films directed by the following Costa Rican artists:

Martes 8:30, directed by André Robert

From October 6th to October 8th, short films will be showed simultaneously in eight cities from four continents. Directors will compete for more than 100,000 dollars in five categories. The festival will make San José the film capital worldwide.

It is an intercultural experience, which aims to use film as a mean to unite, celebrate and share all this audiovisual genre.

It is certainly an opportunity to see the best short stories on the big screen, a current look at the cultural and social diversity of the world. In addition, the event connects and inspires artists and moviegoers.
