Costa Rican, Conjoined twins’ mother feels hopeful after seeing a similar case in America

Evelyn Badilla, mother of Costa Rican conjoined twins Samuel and Ezekiel declared that she is hopeful after the operation conducted  last Friday to separate American conjoined twins Jadon and Anias that were also joined by their heads.

We are very happy. These children had a severe condition, with complications that my children don´t have such as heart failure and breathing problems and that gives us a lot of hope regarding what will happen them,”

expressed the mother.

Nicole and Christian McDonald’s story is very similar to Evelyn and her husband Stallin Núñez’.

We think they are our twin family! They also have a 3-year-old boy .just like us. Their babies’ operation was a big push and it really encouraged us,”

added Mrs. Badilla.

Evelyn admits, as the American mother did, that she also dreams about holding her babies separately and to hug them.

Next Monday Samuel and Ezekiel have an appointment at the National Children’s Hospital (HNN) and after that, doctors will set the operation date, which is estimated to be in late November.

American conjoined twins Jadon and Anias are recovering at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx (New York, USA). Their operation lasted more than 24 hours. Despite some complications, her mother posted on Facebook that they are stable.
