Costa Ricans believe the country is on the wrong track

The survey of the Center for Research and Political Studies (CIEP) of the University of Costa Rica, conducted to 1018 people via cell phone, revealed that 40.06% of the population believe that the course of Costa Rica is bad or very bad, compared to 24,88% who think it is good or very good.

On the issue of government management, opinions are more favorable, since 33.41% believe that the work of the Solís administration is good, compared to 20.65% who think it’s bad.

However, 33.04% rated the management as regular, that is, neither good nor bad.

The President was clear that the surveys are a photograph of the moment, which are very variable, so he does not care much for the results he got.

The poll put President Luis Guillermo Solís as the most accepted political figure in the country, beating even Oscar Arias and Abel Pacheco.

The survey was conducted in mid-July, when there was no announcement of lack of liquidity in the country and contradictions in the same government.
