Cultural Center installs 108 solar panels

In order to reduce energy consumption, the North American Cultural Center, together with the company Enertiva, put into operation 108 solar panels at the headquarters of La Sabana.

This initiative is part of the Solar Energy Project that aims to take care of the environment with the efficient use of clean energy.

We are being consistent with our institutional strategies of environmental management, looking for allies to implement this type of projects that will allow us to better use our resources, work normally with a natural source and savings to expand educational and cultural projects,”

said Guillermo Madriz , Executive Director of the North American Cultural Center.

The plant with 108 solar panels allows saving 90% of the energy consumed in the headquarters and in addition to generating significant savings in the electricity grid, it avoids the annual emissions of 36 tons of carbon.
