Cumulative inflation until November was 0.37%

According to data released on Wednesday by the National Statistics and Census Institute (INEC), the accumulated inflation until November was 0.37%.

During this month the goods and services that showed a greater positive effect on the prices were tomato, tourist packages and automobiles.

However, these increases were compensate with lower prices in air plane tickets fare, urban bus fare and apples, among others.

Overall, 45% of the 315 goods and services that make up the consumer basket show increased prices, 41% show decreased prices and 14% did not change.

When analyzing the percentage changes in the prices of the 12 groups that make up the index, the group Foods and soft drinks is the one that has a greater effect on the variation of prices.

This is the second lowest accumulated variation in the last 5 years.
