The Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) identified a deceased man on Tuesday afternoon, after a water accident in Nosara, Guanacaste.
The OIJ indicated that the victim responded to the name of Hans Jurguen Neuser, approximately 60 to 65 years old.
The incident occurred at about 12:30 pm in the Guiones beach sector.
According to the first inquiries of the OIJ, the man of German origin, was in the country as a tourist in the area with other people, when he got into the sea and drowned.
