Border Police, Migration Police, National Coast Guard, Public Force, Firefighters, Red Cross, SINAC, National Emergency Commission, Traffic Police and the Air Surveillance Service are part of the police and rescue bodies that will serve the population during this period of celebrations.
In the case of the 9-1-1 emergency service, the population is called to establish contact only in critical cases, since it is estimated that half of the calls are not real emergencies and that reduces the capacity to assist in real risk situations.
Regarding the roads, controls are maintained and focused on detecting risk factors for accidents, including drunk drivers, not carrying safety devices, or excess speeding.
In environmental matters, SINAC will carry out 686 operations for the protection of natural resources and wildlife. Visitors are asked to respect the restrictions and conditions of these types of spaces, for example, not taking selfies with animals, not feeding them and not removing them from their natural habitat.
The Fiscal Control Police (PCF) will be throughout the country, especially in border areas in order to stop the transfer of smuggled merchandise such as spirits, fruits, vegetables, clothing, weapons and drugs.
The 120 Red Cross bases will be working continuously to protect vacationers. People are asked to pay special attention to children to prevent burns, falls, water accidents and poisoning. It is also requested to avoid long periods of sun exposure and not navigate in case of adverse conditions.
