Tibás Municipality Press

Around 50 women from the Development Association Leo XIII took the streets of Garabito sector and cleaned the community, as part of the project “I love, I clean, I recycle”, an initiative of Tibás Municipality.

The municipality donated the necessary tools for the work: brooms, shovels, trash bags, shirts and gloves.

On behalf of the municipal government and the City Council it’s an honor to support this group of women. They are giving a good example to the community of Leo XIII and are willing to work in other districts. Here are female household heads, who are leaders. The association needs help from private enterprises to continue this and other projects in the county,”

said Mayor Carlos Cascante.

The Mayor added that the municipality will seek the cooperation of the public and private sector to support the Enterprising Women Association, which was established in 2008.
