Entrepreneurs wanted for training in Silicon Valley

At least four Costa Rican entrepreneurs will receive a one-month training in Silicon Valley, the global epicenter of innovation.

The winners will be selected through the “Cuestamoras a la Innovación” Award.

According to the organizers, the winners will participate in an event called StartupGrind, where experiences of successful entrepreneurs are presented and links with potential investors are made.

The competition will recognize innovative proposals and projects in various areas that have the potential to become business ventures that help improve the quality of life in our country,”

said Miguel Martí, Cuestamoras Corporate Affairs Director.

The competition categories are: education, energy, environment, agribusiness, urban development and collaborative economy.

The call goes from October 10th to November 6th. Entrepreneurs can register on the Facebook page: Cuestamoras Prize for Innovation.

The prize covers lodging, food, transfers, payment of attendance to the events and a medical insurance for 30 days.
