Executive will not get involved in INCOFER’s issues

The Executive Branch announced that it will not take any actions regarding INCOFER’s issues, despite the fact that users were left without train service, which complicated the traffic in many areas, mainly in Heredia and Cartago.

The Minister of the Presidency, Sergio Alfaro, said that the INCOFER’s executive president, Cristian Vargas, is the one who has to deal with this issue.

For now, the handling of this matter is in the hands of INCOFER’s new president. He must design a plan and will have to solve to the problem,”

said the minister.

Although it is a problem that affects the country, the central government said it will not get involved in the conflict’s resolution.
