Falling prices of food and fuel helped to keep inflation low

Lower costs of food and fuel helped keeping inflation low so far this year.
A total of 59 out of 104 food products had lower prices during the first five months of 2016, according to official data.

Transportation costs also fell by 2 percent due to lower prices of gasoline and diesel.

These were the main factors contributing to a 0,03 percent inflation raise in five months.

The decreases were partly offset by rises in education, health, telephone, rent and housing services.
