On Friday, the Finance Ministry warned about scammers who use the name of the entity to ask for personal information of the citizens.
In a statement, the ministry said its officials will not make such requests, unless it’s a special case with properly identified staff that will perform their duties officially.
In the coming weeks the Ministry will be receiving large amounts of tax on income and sales, a reason that is exploited by criminals to request data from taxpayers.
The ministry asked not to provide information by means other than those defined by the law or outside the offices in charge of this opertation.
