Fire in Guararí compromises several homes

A fire that started at about 8:40 p.m. on Thursday compromised several homes in a precarious neighborhood near Guararí in Heredia.

Dilana Zamora, Fire official, said that units were working to control the fire, which affects a 200-meter structure.

Zamora also said they evacuated several people, but since the fire had not been controlled at the moment, they could not rule out having fatal victims.

Several weeks ago a similar incident claimed the lives of six people, when a man started a fire in León XIII in Tibás, San José.
