Forensic personnel are incapacitated due to “psychological pressure”

Some of the personnel working in the pathology section of the Judiciary were incapacitated, after needing to be treated and transferred to San Vicente de Paul Hospital in Heredia, as they had nervous breakdowns and problems in their vital signs when they were ordered to resume their work.

According to Hernán Campos, Secretary General of the Union of Workers of the Judicial Power (Sitrajud), the pressure exerted on the civil servants to resume their work, had an expensive toll on the health of these workers.

Some of them were incapacitated, so it becomes virtually impossible to render the service. But the strike continues and is firmer than ever,”

said Campos.

Officials of the Judiciary have been on strike since July 19th as a way of protesting the fact that Legislative Assembly rejected the union project and accepted the recommendations proposed by the Superintendency of Pensions (SUPEN).
