Gato Cole sentenced to 14 years in prison

On Monday, the Criminal Court of Limón sentenced Limón Keylor Jacob Cole Kelly, also known as Gato Cole, to 14 years in prison for crimes of attempted murder.

Cole, 25, faced several trials. First, he was accused for allegedly attempting to kill with another person, a couple of brothers in the neighborhood Los Cangrejos on December 14th, 2013.

He was also accused of attempted homicide on October 3rd in the neighborhood of La Colina in Limón.

The information was confirmed by the deputy prosecutor of Limón, Karolina Martínez, through her official profile on Twitter.

We got a 14-year sentence and 6 months of preventive prison against Keylor Cole Kelly, A.K.A Gato Cole, for manslaughter and attempted murder,”

twitted Martínez.

Cole was arrested on October 20th 2016 in Guápiles as the main suspect of a shooting perpetrated earlier that month in Limón.

In addition, that day he was also linked to the crimes of legitimation of capitals and drug trafficking.
