Government and unions held intense negotiations

The government and trade unions held long hours of intense negotiations in the midst of the national strike against the fiscal plan.

From 9 am on Thursday, the union leaders and members of the cabinet negotiated the bases and conditions to later negotiate aspects of the tax discussion, with the Catholic Church as mediator.

Both parties remained together in a room of the Juan 23 School, in La Unión de Tres Ríos. In spite of the media inquiries, neither party reveals anything about the progress of the negotiations or how much longer they will be extended.

The two points in which the unions and the Executive Power are involved are the strike; requirement of the government to negotiate and the withdrawal of the fiscal plan from the legislative current, on the part of the trade union.
