Government stated that Otto didn’t affect the work in the Ministries

The President of the Republic, as well as the majority of the ministers and officials from the institutions have worked for a week and a half on addressing the emergency of Hurricane Otto in its different phases.

However, the emergency did not delay the ministries’ regular functions .

Minister of Communication Mauricio Herrera stated that all ministries and institutions were organized in such a way that their work would not be affected.

Last week, the Government decreed two days off (Thursday and Friday) as a precaution due to hurricane Otto’s arrival in the country. Herrera announced that the institutions that did not work those days will have to compensate it.
