Greta Thunberg is invited to Costa Rica

The Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) invited activist Greta Thunberg to visit the country in the framework of PreCOP 25. The information was confirmed by Minister Carlos Manuel Rodríguez.

The pre-COP25 activity will take place in the country on October 8th, prior to the main event in Chile.

We made an invitation through her parents, for the activity with young people,”

Rodriguez told CRHoy.com.

Angry, with tears in her eyes, Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, 16, accused the world leaders on September 23rd for betraying her generation with their inaction against climate change.

You come to us, young people, looking for hope. How dare you?”

stated Greta at the UN.

They have stolen my dreams and my childhood with their empty words, and yet I am one of the luckiest. People are suffering, people are dying, entire ecosystems are collapsing,”

said the young woman.
