Harvey Hurricane caused 18 flights to cancelled in Costa Rica

The emergency caused by Hurricane Harvey in the United States has caused the cancellation of 18 flights since last Saturday and until Tuesday, according to the company Aeris Holding Costa Rica, Juan Santamaría Airport administrator.

Cancellations are for inbound and outbound flights to and from Houston.

These cancellations correspond to United Airlines and Southwest flights. According to both airlines with routes to Houston, their flights will be suspended until September 1st,”

said Aeris in a statement.

However, at the Juan Santamaría International Airport, normal operations are maintained.

Aeris recommends that passengers communicate with the airlines for more information on reprogramming their flights.”
