At 3:22 on Tuesday afternoon, heavy rains caused flooding in the neighborhood of San Isidro de Belén de Heredia.
Therefore, the authorities carried out a preventive closure in the area.
According to Ramón Arrieta, Municipal Police Officer of the area,
the River Quebrada Seca goes through here and it overflowed. There were also some drawbacks in Barrio La Amistad, where the river came out, but it quickly returned to its riverbed.”
