Duke, the puppy whose snout was slashed with a machete, is recovering and has pleasantly surprised everyone.
Despite the severe injuries inflicted on the puppy by a still unknown person, who caused the amputatation of its snout, Duke is eating and it is gaining more strength every day. On Friday and Saturday Duke underwent two surgeries.
Yesterday, Vida Animal Costa Rica informed:
the warrior remains stable. Duke wants to live, we can’t express how we feel regarding this, we know that hundreds of people feel just like us. Our heart is immensely happy, Duke is still struggling.
On Sunday, Duke started eating directly from the plate and it is doing it just great. It is a slow process but the specialists say it is working perfectly. People’s support and donations are important.
