Hundreds of Americans are angry because of Donald Trump’s victory

On November 10th, president Barack Obama received at the White House to his successor Donald Trump, whose election as president started protests in several cities in the US and continues to scare the world.

Obama and Trump’s appointment was scheduled in the Oval Office at around noon.

I invited him to come to the White House to discuss how to guarantee a successful transition,

declared Obama after Trump’s surprising victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton.

In addition, Michelle Obama will host next first lady Melania Trump at the White House residence.

In recent days, Obama had campaigned tirelessly in favor of Clinton. He also warned about the risks to democracy that involved electing the TV star.

After the shocking election, thousands of Americans protested in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Philadelphia, Denver and Phoenix against Trump’s racist, sexist and xenophobic policies.

In Los Angeles, thousands of worried and angry people invaded important roads and burned a Trump’s head effigy to the City Hall. At least 13 people were arrested by police, as stated by Los Angeles Times.

He’s not my president,

shouted hundreds of young men.

While in New York, police arrested 15 demonstrators.

In Washington, hundreds of protesters held a vigil outside the White House. “People have reasons to fear,” stated one of the organizers.

Most of the protests were peaceful, but in Oakland, California, protesters threw bottles and firecrackers to the police, leaving several officers injured.
