ICE is not asking for data to give you a prize

The Costa Rican Institute of Electricity (ICE) warned the citizenship about a series of emails through which criminals could extract sensitive data.

Via Facebook, ICE reported that in the emails people are asked to provide data to obtain a prize of which they are creditors. However, this is not true.

When opening the mail, the person is directed to a site where they are asked personal information and their credit card. Everything seems to be ICE.

The institution recommended ignoring these messages, not opening them, avoiding access to the links that are inside the content and not providing personal or banking information.

If you want to obtain more information about it you can contact 800-Denuncia (33686243) or send an email to 800-denuncie@ice.go.cr.
