If you want to help victims of hurricane Otto you can make donations, no matter where you are!

The Red Cross is the official entity that will channel all the aid. Those who want to collaborate can directly go to the collection center located 200 meters east of the Seminary School in Barrio Naciones Unidas de San José.

To make donations in cash, the following Red Cross bank accounts are available:

A single call or message can make a difference for thousands of affected families. Kölbi enabled its platforms for you to donate via a text message. You must send the word DONO to donate the amount you choose, according to the following options: 5613 to donate ¢ 2,000, 5614 to ¢ 4,000 and 5615 to ¢ 5,000.

Movistar enabled a platform by the number 606: donations can be sent to that number and will be delivered to the Red Cross. Movistar customers should only send an SMS to 606: “OTTO 1000” (donate ¢ 1,000), “OTTO 2000” (donate ¢ 2,000) and “OTTO 5000” (donate ¢ 5,000).
